The Leeds School of Business is ranked sixth in the nation under the Best Undergraduate B-Schools for Sustainability. As an important member of an excellent team, Dave Payne played an integral role in realizing this achievement. For those who don’t know Dave, he is a part-time instructor with full-time heart.

We are extremely proud to inform our CESR family that Dave Payne received the first ever B Corps on Campus Award at B Lab’s 2014 B Corp Champions Awards Dinner in Burlington, VT. The award was presented in front of over 300 global leaders of the B Corp movement.

The award is in recognition of Dave's tireless and passionate teaching and mentoring of Leeds’ students through CESR coursework and Impact Catalyst program, and in recognition of the fact that many of Colorado's Certified B Corps have become B Corps thanks to Dave and his students' hard work.

On behalf of the CESR family, we congratulate Dave for such a well-deserved honor.

As I celebrate my first Thanksgiving as the Director of CESR, I give pause to reflect on the things for which I most grateful. Primarily among them is becoming a part of the CESR family. I want to thank each and every one of you for making me and my family feel so welcomed during the transition. Without your passion, creativity and high standards, we would not be thriving as we are. I wish you and your families a Thanksgiving filled with love and bright moments.
