Day Care Center
CU’s Children's Center is available for child care for children ages 12 months and walking until they reach kindergarten.
Services to Disabled Students
Students with disabilities are encouraged to participate fully in campus academic, cultural, and social activities. In addition to providing support services to students with disabilities, the University is increasing accessibility to academic buildings and residence halls on campus. As the University continues to remove physical barriers, attitude barriers on campus also are being addressed. Working with Affirmative Action and Services, Disability Services is organizing a training program on disability issues for members of the University community.
Veterans Services
Veterans Services is part of the Office of Financial Aid and assists eligible veterans and veterans' dependents in receiving Veterans Administration educational benefits. Counselors are willing to work with enrolled or prospective students. They can answer questions for prospective students, current students, and scholars regarding housing, financial aid, cultural adjustments, visas, taxes, embassies, and ESL classes.
Health Services
CU has adopted a policy of mandatory health insurance coverage for all CU students. The Wardenburg Health Center is an on-campus facility that provides medical and mental health services.
Discrimination and Harassment
The CU Office of Discrimination and Harassment (ODH) enforces the CU Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures and the Policy on Conflict of Interest in Cases of Amorous Relationships. ODH addresses all complaints of discrimination and harassment based upon race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation including gender expression, or veteran status when the alleged harasser is an employee. If the alleged harasser is a student, the complaint will be addressed by the Office of Judicial Affairs.
