Donating to GWC Fund

We are currently in the midst of a matching funds campaign to help launch the new Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment.  All donations up to $1000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar through April 30, 2013.  You can donate directly online to the GWC Fund, or mail a check made out to the CU Foundation to the address below.

Internships

Law School Students

Each summer, we hire current law students as Research Assistants to be assigned to specific ongoing projects under the Getches-Wilkinson Center.  Research Assistants gain greater understanding of environmental law, as well as develop research and writing skills.  For more information about Research Assistant positions for the summer, please e-mail us at gwc@colorado.edu. 

Undergraduate Student Internships

We hire work-study undergraduate students to help support the center operations - duties may include managing databases, website management, and event coordination.  More information about work-study positions can be found by clicking here.

We also hire undergraduate students as full-time interns for the summer who directly support center operations.  Internships run from the beginning of June through mid-August - more information along with application procedures can be found by clicking here.

Volunteering

You can make an important contribution by volunteering your time and experience to the Getches-Wilkinson Center and the CU Law School.  We are always looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to give back by helping support the center.  We have a variety of opportunities available including the following:

  • general administrative duties such as filing, organizing event materials
  • producing and editing Word and Excel documents
  • website management
  • database management,
  • Event coordination, including registration, hosting, setting up rooms
