To accept a seat in the upcoming class, an admitted student must send a confirmation form and a $200 seat deposit to Colorado Law by the date specified in the letter notifying the applicant of admission. Prior to enrolling, all admitted students who have confirmed their admission must submit two official transcripts from each college and postgraduate they have attended showing all completed work. Transcripts must show that you have received a law degree from a properly accredited institution.

Do I need a law degree to apply for the LL.M degree?
We evaluate foreign transcripts to ensure that the course work completed is the equivalent of a U.S. law degree or a degree that would allow the applicant to practice law in the degree-granting country. Applicants who have earned a degree outside the U.S. must have their degree verified using the CU-Boulder services or by another accredited agency. You must submit the agency evaluation report and a certified translation, if necessary, along with the application.
Where can I get assistance as an international student?
CU-Boulder’s International Student and Scholar Services in the Office of International Education is available to assist international students once they are admitted to Colorado Law. Material and resources prepared by Colorado Law’s Office of Career Development are available to LL.M students seeking employment in the United States.
Can international students get part-time jobs while studying at Colorado Law?

How can I get a license to practice law in Colorado or the United States?
Each individual U.S. state sets its own standards for admission of attorneys; therefore, it is best to consult the jurisdiction directly. Please note, Colorado Law does not certify LL.M graduates.
