The Global Climate Crisis:
Colorado's Response to Climate Change
On December 3, 2007, CEES presented "The Global Climate Crisis: Colorado's Response to Climate Change." Distinguished speakers addressed how Colorado will meet the goal of reducing its greenhouse gas emissions to 20% below 2005 levels by 2020. This event was cosponsored by Xcel Energy.
Speakers also discussed national strategies for achieving meaningful progress on climate change, and assessed what China and India are and should be doing to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. A video file of the event is available on the link to the right.
