Naming Campaign

About the Campaign:  Friends, faculty, staff, and students of the Center are working to raise $1.5 million to name the Natural Resources Law Center after David Getches.  David started the Center and its success is truly a testament to his devotion.

If we are successful, the center will be renamed:
The David H. Getches Center for Natural Resource Law and Policy

NRLC’s Director Mark Squillace comments on Proposed BLM/OSM merger (1/25/2012)

NRLC’s Intermountain Oil and Gas BMP Project awarded an USAID Grant: Kathryn Mutz, NRLC’s BMP Project Manager, Matt Sura, recent Law School graduate, and NRLC law student Research Assistants will assist USAID to guide the Government of Ukraine with its early stages of establishing the regulatory framework for shale-gas development. This cooperation will serve to increase Ukraine capabilities in addressing environmental concerns and will create a framework for monitoring/mitigating possible negative impacts and for facilitating sound investments by international and Ukrainian companies. BMP project staff will be visiting the Ukraine as part of this grant. Please contact Kathryn Mutz for more information.
