NRLC staff Ann Morgan, Kathryn Mutz and Sarah Krakoff, with guest lectures by Charles Wilkinson of the CU law faculty and Maggie Fox of the Sierra Club, NCAR, Boulder. This training was organized for non-lawyer staff of conservation non-profits, and presented the participants with an intensive, 2.5 day immersion into the framework of federal laws that guide their work. Feedback by course participants was very enthusiastic, including comments such as “I cannot thank all of you enough for your time, effort and enthusiasm in putting together such a terrific training course. It will be a great help as we move forward.” NRLC will follow up with targeted, two-hour sessions on specific laws, and also hopes to replicate the course for other interested non-profits.
