Our students lead more than 40 student organizations, many of which engage in public service work. For instance:
- The Public Interest Students Association organizes public service opportunities for students, brings speakers to campus, and helps develop and support student interest in engaging in public service;
- The Military Law Society, in an effort coordinated with the Colorado Bar Association, assists veterans throughout the state;
- The National Lawyers Guild, a nationwide organization that since 1937 has been using the law to advance social justice and support progressive social movements, organizes efforts toward these causes;
- The Juvenile and Family Law Club gives students the opportunity to learn about and discuss the law and policy issues relevant to families and juveniles, as well as the practice and career concerns of juvenile and family lawyers.
These are just a few of the interesting and focused student groups that assist various communities in Colorado and across the nation. See our student organizations.
