Constance Talmage, Executive Director of the Colorado Lawyers Committee, visit Professor Melissa Hart'sclass in Legal Ethics and Professionalism on February 17, 2005. She discussed the work of the Colorado Lawyers Committee -- a nonprofit, nonpartisan consortium of 41 Denver area law firms that provides pro bono representation seeking systemic reform for children, the poor and other disadvantaged communities; the practical and ethical issues that arise in coordinating a pro bono program; and the debate about making pro bono work a mandatory requirement for attorneys and law students in Colorado.
