  1. confirm that you hold a BA or equivalent
  2. state your affiliation with the language teaching profession
  3. provide the language(s) you teach
  4. list prior experience with technology use for teaching and learning (if any)
  5. explain what you are hoping to get from taking certificate courses.

International Applicants

We welcome international students! We currently have students from Japan and the Philippines and they bring unique, valuable and global perspectives to our discussions.

While the TOEFL (or equivalent) is not required for admission, the courses are taught entirely in English, are in an English course management system, and involve a significant amount of academic readings, written assignments and oral presentations.

Feel free to schedule a consultation with Edwige for more information.

Technology Requirements

You will need 24/7 access to an Internet connection and a recent computer with a functional sound card and webcam.

About Social Media and Other Tools

As part of your course work, you may be asked to create profiles on a variety of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. This is an integrant and required part of the program as we explore the potential of these tools for teaching, learning and professional development. Participation in the certificate private Facebook group is not required. You may create anonymous profiles if you wish and cancel your accounts once the coursework is over.
