The Certificate

The graduate certificate in language teaching with technology is offered by the Division of Continuing Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. It is a 12-credit fully online graduate program dedicated to the theory and practice of technology integration in the language classroom. It is designed for language educators who wish to improve their technological, pedagogical and linguistic proficiency. The courses are fully online and taught by experienced language educators. Flexible program:

  • Fully online
  • Courses can be taken in any order (except for the capstone course LGTC 5050)

  • Take as many or as few courses as you want

  • Complete the certificate in one year or in up to three years

Eligibility

The minimum requirement to take an Elevate course is a BA or equivalent. 

Audience:

  • Language teachers (pre-service, in-service, all languages including ESL, all levels)
  • Language program directors and staff
  • Language center professionals
  • Language Technology Specialists (faculty support, instructional designers, etc)

Cost:

  • $380/credit hour
  • Limited number of scholarships are available (contact us)
  • CU graduate students may receive partial funding for this program
