Rex T. Skodje

Rex T. Skodje

Professor Skodje completed his undergraduate degree in physics at Harvard. He performed his graduate work at the University of Minnesota under the direction of Don Truhlar and then worked under William Reinhardt at the University of Colorado at Boulder as a post-doctoral fellow at JILA. Professor Skodje has been a professor in the chemistry department at the University of Colorado at Boulder since 1984.

Graduate Students

Shirong Bai

Shirong Bai

Shirong's Research Interests Include: Combustion! Education: B.S. in Chemical Physics at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) (2012)
Jonathan Church

Jonathan Church

Jon's Research Interests Include: I recently obtained my doctorate from the University of Colorado Boulder while working in the Rex Skodje group. During my Ph.D. I have studied the catalytic effect hydroperoxyl radicals can play in double exchange reactions using electronic structure calculations. I primarily looked at the kinetics of these hydrogen exchange reactions using transition state theory and small-curvature tunneling. Education: B.S. Chemistry at University of Colorado Denver (2013)...
Rob Wells

Rob Wells

Rob's Research Interests Include: I am interested in looking at pathways of molecules during combustion of gases and steam/methanol reformation. Using a sum over histories approach, an idea that stems from the Feynman path integral in quantum mechanics, we are able to find the reaction pathways that a molecule follows. Education: B.S. Chemistry at University of Arkansas - Fort Smith (2014)
