Sydney has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Gonzaga University. While working as an applications engineer she became interested in oxidation processes, and this interest led her to the Linden Lab group at the University of Colorado in 2014. She completed her M.S. and Ph.D. (2019) in Environmental Engineering under the supervision of Karl Linden. Her work focused on evaluating the resiliency of different oxidation processes in potable reuse systems. Sydney’s research is funded by the Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need fellowship.
