Christina has her B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and finished her PhD in 2016. Her work focused on the assessment of large-scale distributions of household water treatment systems and high efficiency cookstoves in Rwanda and its sustainability. She collaborated with a number of researchers including Dr. Evan Thomas at Portland State University, and DelAgua Health. She has previously received a Boren Fellowship and received recognition from the College of Engineering for her international development work.
