This series studies a woman's journey through (self-)bondage, through breakage, into power. Here, in a Nagelesque pose, the figure is almost turned on herself, her head at an unnatural, impossible angle. In the images to come, the figure defines her torture more fully, and comes undone, in a manner of speaking.
