the editor and her papers...

Canéla Analucinda Jaramillo recently gave up the 100-hour work week, in favor of long rest and playful enterprise: she is the founding editor, and continuing editor-in-chief of STANDARDS; the President of the Frontera Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting Baobab Community High School; and a home-officing parent to three incredible kids. Canéla recently celebrated her 10th anniversary of being cancer-free. Saludos to all women who face down cervical, breast, and all other forms of cancer, and who still walk forward toward some semblance of sanity! And deep respect for those of us who battled and now walk with the stars...
