Course Overview

Issues in health will ideally be team-taught by the members of the high school staff and a variety of expert speakers.

A school nurse will, of course, play a central role and as such will revise this syllabus as necessary. At this time the curriculum would seek to address the following areas and concerns:

As per the Comprehensive Health Education Act of 1991, the high school will make the syllabus available to each student and parent to inform them of the scope and sequence of topics to be studied.
