Academic Advising
The academic adviser is the main contact for course selection and career advice once the student has been admitted to the school. Check the Personal Look-Up System Web site (PLUS) to learn your adviser’s name. All majors must consult their academic adviser before each registration.

Students apply for a bachelor of science degree in one of five sequences.

Internship and Career Office
The school takes full advantage of its location at the edge of the largest media market in the intermountain West, maintaining an ambitious year-round program for undergraduate and master’s students. Students consistently are offered highly competitive internships at leading Denver television and radio stations; newspapers; public relations firms; government, nonprofit and corporate public information offices; and advertising agencies. Internships are available in communities throughout the state — including Colorado’s mountain resort areas — and the nation.
More about the Internship and Career Office.

Prejournalism Advising
Peer advisers are available each semester during registration outside of Armory 1B01.
The prejournalism student adviser is Jeanne Meyer-Brown, Armory 1B12,
Jeanne.Brown@Colorado.edu.

More information for prejournalism students.
