Newsgathering Combination Print and Broadcast
The MA combination Newsgathering Broadcast and Print option is designed for students with limited academic or professional experience in news reporting and writing. It prepares students for careers in a wide variety of professional settings including newspapers and magazines, broadcast media outlets, online publishing and corporate communications. With the addition of one to two courses, it is possible to complete both the print and broadcast sequences.
Course Requirements for Newsgathering Combination Print and Broadcast Majors
A total of 36 credit hours for print and broadcast
combination is required for graduation. Combo students
may chose to complete either the broadcast professional
project or the print professional project.
