Qualitative methodologies refers to an approach to knowledge-gathering
that employs one or more of the following techniques: in-depth interviewing
addressing a common issue of concern within a group or set of individuals
with common characteristics, ethnographic participant observation
and interviewing of a particular culture or subculture, and textual,
visual, historical, and rhetorical analyses.
