Application and Selection Process

To apply, submit a completed application form together with a résumé, work samples, an intellectual autobiography, a projected study plan for the academic year and three letters of recommendation, including one from a current supervisor.

Applicants must also obtain their employer's written consent for a leave of absence for the mid-August to mid-May academic year. Fellows are expected to return to the job following the fellowship.

A three-person selection committee will read all applications and select the fellows.

Application Deadline

The application deadline is March 1. Fellows will be notified of their selection by May 1 and will arrive on campus in mid-August for a week's orientation prior to the first day of classes.
