Graduate Certificate in Environment, Policy, and Society
To qualify for the certificate, students must complete at least 18 hours of coursework from the more than 40 courses offered, including two seminars serving as cornerstone and capstone courses. Six of the 18 hours required for the certificate are completed in the JMC. These courses are Science Writing, taken in the fall of the first year, and Reporting on the Environment, taken the following spring. These two classes fulfill other school requirements. A list of courses that fulfill certificate requirements is available on the Graduate Certificate in Environment, Policy, and Society website.
