Professor Stewart M. Hoover


Professor Stewart Hoover taught the Doctoral ProSeminar. He was one of several faculty members and doctoral alumni involved in publishing the book “Media, Home and Family.” Others were Assistant Research Professor Lynn Schofield Clark (Ph.D. '98), Assistant Professor Lee Hood (Ph.D. '00), Diane Alters (Ph.D. '02) and Joseph Champ (Ph.D. '01).

He also held two seminars for the Lilly-funded doctoral fellowship program that focuses on media, religion and culture. The seminars were held in Atlanta and Boulder.

Hoover, along with Lynn Schofield Clark (Ph.D. '98), received a $274,000 grant to continue the Fellowship program for an additional three years. Hoover recently began planning the development of a Center for Media, Religion and culture at the School.
