In September, CU students were honored with the School's second Regional Emmy award for Student Entertainment Programming for mobile unit coverage of an athletic event.
Although about five dozen regional Emmys are awarded, only three are for student work. CU won its first regional Emmy in 1997 for coverage of a women's basketball game.
For this latest Emmy, students produced a live broadcast of a women's volleyball game from the Coors Events Conference Center.
