AEJMC panel opts for provisional accreditation
The Accrediting Committee for the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication has accepted the recommendation of an AEJMC site team that the School be placed on provisional status pending the resolution of leadership and facilities issues. The committee is forwarding the recommendation of provisional status to the AEJMC's Accrediting Council.
"If the Accrediting Council takes the committee's recommendation, the School will invite another team to visit in the fall," Assistant Dean Steve Jones said.
