John Russell ('90) of the Steamboat Pilot & Today received an honorable mention, first- and second-place prizes for portrait and personality photos, and second place and an honorable mention in sports photo from the Colorado Associated Press Editors and Reporters awards in February. He also won the second-place award for best sports column from the Colorado Press Association.
James Amos ('91) is the business editor of The Pueblo Chieftain and helped win the "Best News Story" in the Colorado Press Association division for midsized newspapers for coverage of the state's devastating 2006 blizzards. He also wrote, produced and acted in a melodrama that included jokes about mortgage brokers and Colorado Springs. It was performed in Pueblo.

Heather Hill ('91) moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to work as an associate director of brand integration for Saatchi & Saatchi after six years as the vice president of brand communications for Go Fast Sports & Beverage Co. in Denver. In March, Hill was planning to move to Boise, Idaho, to join Oliver Russell & Associates as the director of marketing for the 2009 Special Olympic World Games.

Lori Call ('94) is brand/external communications manager at Kaiser Permanente in Denver where she oversees advertising, sponsorships, events, creative services, internal branding as well as media relations and crisis communications.
Gregory Corns ('94) is the broadcast operations and master control supervisor at the Andrita Studios in Glendale, Calif., for Playboy Entertainment Inc. In addition to uplinking more than a dozen Playboy Entertainment channels, the Andrita Studios facility acts as a multichannel service provider for more than 20 networks monitored 24/7 from its master control. He lives in Los Angeles.
