Students begin live blogging

Kyle McDaniel, a staffer for The Campus Press, writes a blog during a Buffs basketball game. This winter, CP reporters began blogging during games and meetings to give readers more behind-the-scenes details. During one student government meeting, the CP blogger mentioned that someone in the audience was falling asleep. Around 20 minutes later, he mentioned the man had begun snoring. “You wouldn’t really put that in a real news story, but it kind of makes an entertaining read,” CP adviser Sandra Fish said, adding that professional journalists are increasingly blogging live from events.
