The '60s

John Herzog (’61) was appointed to the Colorado Securities Board and the Utility Consumers’ Board by Gov. Bill Owens after he returned to Colorado in May 2005 from the Washington, D.C., area. He lives in Colorado Springs.

The '70s

Lynda (Joie) Lawrence (’70) is chief idea officer of Ideaworks Consulting. She completed a master’s degree in organizational development at Pepperdine University-Graziadio School of Business last August and is teaching innovation at University of California, Irvine-The Paul Merage School of Business and UCI Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Catherine O’Connell (’77) is an author in Aspen who recently published a mystery novel titled “Well Bred and Dead” (Harper Collins 2007). Reviews and more information are available at www.wellbredanddead.com.

Gloria Bucco (’78) recently graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism and Mass Communications with a master of arts degree. She hopes to teach journalism at the college level. She lives in Lincoln. gmbucco@yahoo.com

Rob Reuteman (MA ’78) has been named secretary of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers. He will serve one year each as secretary, treasurer, vice president and president of SABEW. Reuteman is the business editor of the Rocky Mountain News. He won first place for business columns in the annual Colorado Society of Professional Journalists contest in March. Reuteman lives in Denver.
