Assistant Professor Lee Hood

Assistant Professor Lee Hood taught Radio & TV Newswriting, TV Reporting and the graduate Newsgathering for TV courses.

She was also the head of the Radio-TV Journalism Division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, helping give the School a high profile nationally among broadcast educators.

Hood also helped establish and supervise an internship with author and Sports Illustrated senior columnist Rick Reilly ('81). "It's his first time working with a CU intern," she said. "I have known Rick for a long time, and it certainly benefits students to get a chance to work with him."

She developed a Web site for her classes that includes resources designed to be useful to broadcast news students in general: spot.colorado.edu/~hood.
