The '60s and '70s

Rendell Ayers ('61), the founder of Ayers/BSM&R Strategic Public Relations and a fellow of the Public Relations Society of America, has served for six years on the Colorado Endowment for the Humanities Board. He and his wife, Sara Lee Ayers, live in Lakewood.

Steve Hatchell ('70), commissioner of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, directed the Olympic Command Performance Rodeo at the Salt Lake City Olympic Games in February 2002. He was also last summer's grand marshal for the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. He lives in Dallas.

Sheila Slocum Hollis ('71) is the managing partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Duane Morris LLP. She was appointed to the board of editors of the ABA Journal, which has nearly 400,000 subscribers and is the voice of the American Bar Association. Sshollis@duanemorris.com

Jacqueline (Buckley) Greer ('78) is the information officer for the California Office of Emergency. She is in charge of the Office of Emergency Services Joint Information Center, where she monitors print, broadcast and Internet media for stories and trends relating to terrorism and emergency preparedness. Donna Marek ('79) recently completed a feature-length documentary called "Unsung Heroes," about law enforcement officers, paramedics and firefighters. She also directed the filming in Boulder of a narrative feature film called "The Break-Up," with several students in the crew and cast.
