Ida Libert Uchill (39) in December published the third edition of her book Pioneers, Peddlers and Tsadikim: The Story of the Jews in Colorado (University Press of Colorado) and last June published Howdy Sucker! What P.T. Barnum Did in Colorado. She lives in Denver. William Davoren (49) has dedicated his life to protecting the environment for more than 50 years. He began his career with former U.S. Secretary of Interior Stuart L. Udall. He went on to found the Bay Institute, an environmental nonprofit concerned with the protection and restoration of the San Francisco Bay, its delta and its tributaries. He lives in Tiburon, Calif. The 50s Robert Brictson (50) exhibited his private collection Voodoo-Spirits in Haitian Art at the San Diego Museum of Man in Balboa Park through February. Some of the items were displayed at the CU Art Galleries in spring 1989. He lives in La Jolla, Calif., and Jacmel, Haiti. Laurence Laurie Paddock (50), former editor of the Boulder Daily Camera retired from the paper for a second time. He had been on the editorial board for nine years. This is the first time that the Paddock name did not appear on the masthead since his grandfather bought a share of the paper in 1892; his family controlled it until 1969. Paddock lives in Boulder. Paul Albright (57) serves on the board of the CU-Boulder Alumni Association, edits an international stamp collector journal and accumulates stamps, the beginnings of his own collection. He retired from the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, where he was director of communications. He lives in Boulder.
