Lucas Gilman ('00) grew up in the mountains of western Colorado. Traveling the world in search of untouched places and wild experiences, he captures images ranging from kayaking in India, Brazil and Uganda to backcountry skiing in Romania, Bulgaria and the Tetons. Gilman regularly works with editorial clients that span the globe including: National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, ESPN Magazine, STERN, Outside Magazine and The New York Times. His commercial clients include Nikon, Patagonia, Gore-Tex, Marmot, K2 Skis, Atomic Skis, Cloudveil, Thorlo and Teva.
