Dana Cantarano Berry ('00) and husband John Berry had a baby boy, Connor, on Aug. 25. Dana, PR director for Magnolia Hotels, is the 2008 social committee chair for the PRSA Colorado Chapter.

Ryan Chiaverini ('00) joined the ABC 7 Chicago sports team as sports reporter/fill-in sports anchor in March 2006. Chiaverini went to ABC 7 from KUSA-Channel 9 in Denver where he had been a sports reporter since 2002. During his tenure there, he covered the Denver Broncos and other teams for KUSA's newscasts. He also served as host and reporter for KUSA's sports shows, including "John Elway's Crush Zone" and "The Bronco's Huddle with Mike Shanahan." Before he was at KUSA, Chiaverini worked at KTVQ-TV in Billings, Mont., and KFBB-TV in Great Falls, Mont.

Colin Chmielewski ('00) is a sports writer for the Albany Herald in Albany, Ga., covering University of Georgia football. After leaving CU, he went to graduate school at Syracuse.

Alan Jackson ('00) has been promoted to creative production director at 850-AM KOA in Denver. He will also continue to serve as executive producer of CU football on KOA.

Chris Jacobs ('00) is a senior account manager at Action Marketing Group in Boulder.

Jessica Kelly ('00) left her job with "American Idol" and has produced a documentary on biodiesel called "Revolution Green." She writes: "The film is 78 minutes long and details the story of a man on Maui seeking to make biodiesel out of waste cooking oil back in 1996. He succeeds and starts building biodiesel plants across America with the help of friend and country music legend Willie Nelson. Todd Sainer ('00) is working part-time at KOA-AM as a fill-in news anchor on occasional weekend mornings. Josh Samuels ('00) started his TV career in Grand Junction but for almost four years has been in Champaign, Ill., where he is the sports director at WICD-TV. He says it's a great sports market, in a college town with a lot of big-city sports nearby. He has covered the last three World Series and a Final Four, and the PGA championship at Medinah in Chicago. He says he also went to the Super Bowl in Miami last year.

Kirk Siegler ('00) left his job as news director at Aspen Public Radio for a reporting job with NPR station KUNC-FM on the Front Range. He writes: "KUNC recently added a Boulder signal and also is expanding its reach into the Denver area. So I'll be based in those two places." Siegler says he's excited for the opportunity to go back solely to reporting, although he's had "a fun run" in Aspen. kirk.siegler@kunc.org

Greg Bledsoe ('01) is now reporting on weekdays and doing weekend weather at KNSD in San Diego, where he's been for several years. He is engaged to Jessica Erickstad ('01).

Loryn Kasten ('02) is a director of marketing and communications for Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort.

Marie Kennedy ('02) is a marriage and family therapist intern in Orange County, Calif. She completed her second master's degree last December in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, after getting an MA in professional writing from the University of Southern California. Bryan Keating ('04) was named sports director at KTXS-TV in Abilene, Texas, after spending two years as the weekend sports anchor at KAVU-TV in Victoria, Texas.

Jennifer Coffman Kerchner ('04) is teaching sixth grade at Welchester Elementary School in Golden. She is helping produce Welchester's "KEGL News," which airs every Wednesday and features sixth-grade anchors and reporters.
