The '90s

David Harrison (’90) is director of photography at the East Valley Tribune in Mesa, Ariz. He and his wife, Jill, have two sons and are adopting a girl from South Korea.

Amy Sampson (’90) resigned from Gov. Bill Owens’ press office to be a stay-at-home mom. Her daughter Lauren was born in November, and Sampson and her husband, Larry, adopted 13-month-old Audra from China.

Holly Duncan (’93) is director of field communications for GAP Inc. and Old Navy in San Francisco.

Marc Hertz (’93) is a copy editor for Business Wire in Los Angeles. He has also written four screenplays and a novel.

Jacqueline Tall (’93), head of the marketing department at Heritage Bank in Broomfield since 1995, has been designated a certified business communicator by the Business Marketing Association. The credential recognizes high standards of professionalism, education and ethical conduct in the field of business-to-business marketing communications.

Perkins Rowe (’94) has married professional golfer Michael Rowe. She is the anchor at WKMG-TV in Orlando, Fla.

Emily Livingston Koechel (’95) recently married and moved to Dallas. She works as an analyst for American Airlines and graduated in the spring from Southern Methodist University’s MBA program.

Amanda Stevens (’95) is a copywriter for Foote Cone & Belding in Chicago.

Melissa Sayler (’96) is the imaging specialist for the The Oregonianin Portland. She processes photos for publication.

Julie Kauffman (’97) works in Denver at the Foundation for a Better Life.

Emily Kitching (’97) started a company, Eclectic Horseman Communications Inc., in March 2001. It publishes a bimonthly horsemanship magazine, creates and hosts Web sites, and offers a variety of graphic design services.

Laura Schneider (MA’97) has been promoted to corporate communications manager at NMS Communications Corp. in Red Bank, N.J.

Brian Barker (’98) is the nightside general assignment reporter at KATUTV, the ABC affiliate in Portland, Ore.

Laurel Busby (MA’98) co-produced the movie “Outfoxed,” a film about Fox News, media consolidation and Rupert Murdoch. She lives in Los Angeles.

Ryan Katz (’98) has appeared on the new TBS reality show “He’s A Lady.” Katz has also appeared on the “Oprah” show, is now authoring DVDs, preparing to go on a college speaking tour with Ron Jeremy, and planning the production of a show that he hopes to tour with.

Tim Skillern (’98), a Web producer for the Rocky Mountain News, won first place for online storytelling in the Best of the West journalism contest.

Annik Stahl (MA’98) works at Microsoft, where she writes the “Crabby Office Lady” column. She lives in Renton, Wash.

Matt Altman (’99) produced a show on the Discovery Channel called “Wing Nuts.” He lives in Los Angeles.

Nate Haas (’99) has accepted a position in the public relations department at the University of Northern Colorado.

Kelly A. Hurley (’99) is a public relations associate at the Denver Art Museum.

Alicia Kresage (’99) is a marketing and media relations manager at the American Cancer Society in Oakland, Calif. She moved from Los Angeles, where she had worked for Paramount Pictures.
