Program in Jewish Studies at CU Boulder LogoThe Program in Jewish Studies at CU Boulder is now seeking a PhD or ABD who can serve as a Lecturer and teach two classes for the Program in Jewish Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder--one in Fall 2017 and one in Spring 2018. Duties include developing and teaching two courses, evaluating and meeting with students, and submitting grades. The Fall class should have some content in Jewish-Muslim Relations while the Spring class should revolve around the history of Israel/Palestine.

The Program in Jewish Studies is an academic, degree-granting program at the University of Colorado Boulder. Open to students of all backgrounds, Jewish and non-Jewish, PJS’s mission is to provide students with an outstanding, interdisciplinary, liberal arts education in Jewish history, literature, language, and culture. The Program fosters critical thought, engages students in professional development opportunities, and instills a keen appreciate of humankind’s interrelatedness and diversity. PJS also engages both the CU and external communities through extra-curricular programming, events, and projects aimed at furthering intellectual engagement in Jewish Studies topics. Further, the Program is deeply committed to the encouragement and development of faculty research and teaching.
