Brian Catlos, Professor of Religious Studies, was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities Research Fellowship to support his research project "Ethno-religious Identity in the Medieval Mediterranean and Beyond."
Prof. Catlos also recently published an article entitled "Christian-Muslim-Jewish Relations, Medieval "Spain," and the Mediterranean: An Historiographical Op-Ed," in In and Of the Mediterranean: Medieval and Early Modern Iberian Studies, edited by Nuria Silleras-Fernández & Michelle Hamilton (Vanderbilt University Press, 2015).
