Sponsor a GuestTo sponsor a guest, follow the instruction below.
Logging In1. Go to the UCB Guest Wireless sponsor form at https://ucbguestsponsor.colorado.edu. An on-campus Internet connection required to access the form. If you are off-campus, connect with CU-Boulder's VPN. 2. Sponsors, log in with your CU Login Name and IdentiKey password.
3. Upon accessing the sponsor form for the first time, the preferences menu will display. Select your preferences or keep the defaults and click on the Submit button.
Creating Guest Credentials1. In the User Accounts section, click on Create.
2. Enter your guest's information into the top four fields on the form.
3. Set the account start time and date, and the account end time and date. Access time depends on the sponsor’s affiliation with CU-Boulder:
4. Click on the Add User button.
5. Your guest's credentials will be created and displayed to you. The guest's username will be their e-mail address that you entered and a random password.
6. You can print or e-mail the username and password, along with access instructions, by clicking on the Print or E-mail buttons. By clicking the E-mail button, a message is sent to the guest's registered e-mail address that you entered.
7. Both views have the same information, which includes:
Editing Guest Information1. To edit guest information, click on the Edit link.
2. Click on the Edit button associated with your guest.
3. You can edit the guest's first and last name, and the start and end time and date for the guest. This can come in very handy if you need to extend your guest's access time. Time can be extended in the following units:
4. Once your edits are complete, click on the Submit button. Suspending a Guest AccountIf you need to suspend a guest account because your guest finished early, or they are not following the "Use of CU-Boulder's Computing and Network Resources" policy follow the instructions below: 1. Click on the Suspend link.
2. Click on the Suspend button associated with your guest.
3. Your guest's account has now been supsended.
Viewing Guest Account Details1. To view the guest accounts you have created click on the Full Reporting link.
2. In this view you can see all the of the guest accounts you have created, their status, usernames and passwords, and further details.
