Setting CUantivirus to "Snooze" for Windows VPN Software Installation
1. To disable CUantivirus, find eTrust on your taskbar. If you look at your taskbar (the bar that your Start menu is on) on the far right, next to the time, you should see eTrust is running, and is an icon that looks like this:
If you don't see it then it may not be showing because Windows isn't showing all the icons, to show them all we can expand the icons clicking the small arrows on the left of this bar once.
2. Once you located the CUantivirus (eTrust) icon, change it to snooze which will turn it off for a set period of time and then reactivate it (think of your snooze button on your alarm clock). To do this, right click the CUantivirus (eTrust) icon. A new window should now display. Move your mouse up to the item called Snooze and left click.
3. A new dialog window should appear that has an option to tell CUantivirus (eTrust) how long to snooze. Installation should take less than 15 minutes. Type 15 in the box, and click OK.
4. CUantivirus (eTrust) should now be set to Snooze. To ensure that it worked, look at the icon again; it should appear to have a red circle with a line through it like below.
5. If you are running Windows XP, you may receive a warning that your antivirus software is turned off. The warning will look similar to the one below. You can ignore this warning, because CUantivirus (eTrust) will turn back on after it has snoozed.
