Overview

ITS distributes television signals on the campus cable TV network, and to one Boulder community channel. Videotapes, DVDs, or satellite programs may be scheduled for playback in any media-equipped classroom on campus over the campus cable distribution system. We charge a fee for capturing signals from satellites.

Programming already scheduled on the campus cable system includes news (SCOLA) and programs in many languages (the International Channel); programming from the University of Colorado; CAETE engineering and computer science classes, and KUCB radio. ITS maintains a schedule showing which programs can be seen on which stations.

First Steps

  • To schedule a videotape or satellite program playback on the campus cable system, or for information on any programming call, 303-735-HELP. As always you can also contact the IT Service Center at 303-735-HELP (or 5-4357 from an on-campus phone).

What You'll Need

  • To schedule a videotape or DVD playback, or a satellite program distributor, you will need to provide the date and time for re-broadcasting, satellite coordinates, transponder information, and length of program. For downloading a signal from a satellite, there is a fee associated with this service.
