Encrypting Your E-mail—Unix Platform E-mail Programs

If you are using an e-mail program, besides WebMail, you should encrypt your messages by configuring your software for secure connections, SSL.

1. Identify your e-mail client software: Netscape 4.7 or Netscape 6.2.

2. Select from the configuration instructions below and setup your software to make secure connections.

Exchange Users

Contact your network administrator and they will configure your software for secure connections.

3. Once you have successfuly configured your e-mail client for secure connections, encrypt your Telnet and FTP terminal applications.
