Encrypt your ACARD Session

Telnet is vulnerable because it transfers information in a plain text format. A vulnerability like this can put your data in danger of being interceptedby someone with bad intentions. Follow the directions below to prevent this form happening.

Please Note: Terminal window size must be set to 80 x 24.

ACARD Access

SSH (Secure Shell) can be used for both your telnet terminal application and your FTP terminal application.

  1. Download SSH Communications Windows Client (Version 3.2.9, which includes support for pass-thru printing)
     
  2. Read through and refer to the SSH Secure Shell Initial Connection and Transferring Files instructions after download and installation
