Step 1. Check your version1. Click on the CUantivirus icon in the top-right corner of your screen and select About.
2. The application will open. There are two scenarios at this point: Scenario A - You have to upgrade to version 8 A window will appear that lists the Product Version: as 7.x. You now have to uninstall this version, and then install version 8. Continue on to Step 2. Uninstall version 7. Scenario B - You don't have to upgrade On the Summary tab, in the eTrust ITM Information section, refer to the Release column. If the first number listed is 8, you do not have to upgrade.
Step 2. Uninstall version 7Before you can install version 8, you need to uninstall version 7. It is very important that you follow ITS's uninstall instructions. Step 3.
