Overview

You can access the university network and the Internet from on-campus wired and wireless Internet service. Then you can tap into a variety of campus, national, and international resources such as e-mail, the Web, library resources, and more.

• Campus departments – Campus departments can order Ethernet connectivity if they do not already have it. Depending on location, departments can receive Ethernet connections with speeds of 10 or 100Mbps. Click here to learn how to connect to the network.
• Wireless Network Acess - Connect to the Internet via wireless network access from various spots on the CU-Boulder campus.

First Steps

  • Contact your communications liaison to order Ethernet service.

• Wireless network users - You should visit the Wireless Internet Access web site.

What You'll Need

• Your own personal or departmental computer.
• For wired Internet connectivity: an Ethernet cable. One Ethernet cable is included with Ethernet activation for on-campus departments only.
• Campus departments: a speed type number for Ethernet activation and monthly service payments.
