Overview

The CU-Boulder campus is protected by a border firewall. That means that CU-Boulder has a "closed" network. By default, traffic is not allowed into the campus network with a few exceptions for typical secure connections. (The firewall does not affect outgoing Internet traffic such as web browsing, connecting to external e-mail servers, etc.)
