Workshops
There are periodic beginner-level
workshops for SAS, SPSS, Mathematica, and IDL, and other
workshops can be arranged with Alex or Bruce as needed.

SAS is a widely-used statistical software product used for analyzing and modeling data.
Eligibility:
SAS licenses (via our site license) are available to faculty, staff and students at CU-Boulder, CU-Denver/Health Sciences, and CU-Colorado Springs. A user licensed for a university computer may use SAS on a home computer.
Platforms:
SAS is available for Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional, and for Linux
2009-2010 fee schedule:
The fee for an SAS license valid through July 2010,
for Windows and Linux workstations, is $100.
How to get it:
Send the following information to sitelic@colorado.edu:
- SpeedType (8-digit departmental account code) to which license fee can be charged; or, personal check
- Which SAS version; 9.2 or 9.1.3
- If it is for a Linux computer rather than Windows
What is included:
In addition to the complete SAS Base product, the CU license includes SAS/Genetics for all Windows licenses.
