Users of Red Hat Enterprise Linux at CU-Boulder campus can take advantage of the RedHat site license purchased by the University. Licenses are available for all departmental computers, and for personal computers of CU-Boulder faculty, staff, and students, with no fees to end-users.
Single Systems
If you have a system running RedHat, or want to install RedHat, but you don't require a login on the RedHat Satellite Server, follow the instructions for End User RedHat Registration.
Multiple Systems
If you have multiple systems to manage (a lab, or group of machines) and require a login on the Satellite Server for package management, remote system management, etc., then follow instructions for RedHat Satellite Server.
