Outlook Overview

Microsoft Outlook 2003
Microsoft Outlook 2002
Microsoft Outlook 2000

All versions of Outlook rely on Windows to provide the correct time and date.  If you have not updated Windows for Daylight Saving Time, please click here to be directed to the Windows Operating Systems support section for DST.

Separate actions must be taken for Outlook 2007.

Impact of Daylight Saving Time Change on this Technology

After you have updated Windows for DST 2007, it may be necessary to adjust some of your appointments back to the correct time during the Delta Period (March 11, 2007 to April 1, 2007 and November 4, 2007 – October 28, 2007). Because all versions of Outlook rely on the system date and time, Outlook may have incorrectly adjusted some of your calendar events.

Remediation Steps for Customers

Microsoft has provided a tool called TZMove.exe which, with your help, will attempt to correct some of the events that may be incorrect due the Daylight Saving Time shift.  Please read the information provided by Microsoft for instructions about downloading and running the TZMove.
