IdM Overview

The current installation in both development and production is IDM version 6.1.  IDM in production is currently performing a full reconciliation between IDM and the CULink User LDAP instance.  In the future, IDM will be the provisioning engine for ITS supported resources: LDAP, CULink, CULearn, Active Directory, etc.

Impact of Daylight Saving Time Change on this Technology

IDM uses an Oracle database repository and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM), and both of these resources require remediation for the DST bug.  At this time, I do not know of any DST dependencies in the IDM application itself, or the IDM framework extensions that our consultants, Aegis Net USA, have implemented.  I am pursuing a definitive O.K. from the vendor and the consultant.

Remediation Steps for Customers

No customer serviceable parts are available under this cover.  Removal of the cover by non-approved technician will void the warranty.
