Overview
The ITS-Humanities Computer Classrooms, located in the lower level of
the Eaton Humanities building, represent a new model for integrating technology
with teaching on Boulder campus. This is the first instructional facility
to offer ITS-maintained computers with dedicated on-site support staff
(located in Humanities 1B25). Another unique feature is the Robotel SmartClass
system, which allows the instructor to control audio, video, and keyboard
signals for all the workstations in each room.
Features
Here are just some of the components you'll find in these classrooms:
- FlatScreen (LCD) displays and 2-way audio for all workstations
- Dual ceiling-mounted data projectors with independent view screens
- Robotel SmartClass switching system
- Media cabinet featuring multi-format VHS, plus CD and cassette audio
- Dedicated high-speed laser printer
- Fast 100-Megabit ethernet connections for all workstations.
