How to Upload Your Web Site on to WebFiles and Make it "Live"

1. Log into WebFiles

To access WebFiles, you can get to it through CUConnect. Or go directly to https://webfiles.colorado.edu/. You will need to use your CU Login Name and IdentiKey password to log in to WebFiles.

2. Click on the www directory.

Once you are in WebFiles, you will see a folder called www. This is where you will keep your web page files.

3. To upload your files, click on the Upload button, as shown below:

4. In the window that opens, you can select the number of files you want to upload, and then click on the Choose File button, as shown below:

5. Once you have selected the file(s) you want to upload. Click Ok.

6. You should now see the file(s) you uploaded in the www folder.

Viewing Your Web Site

1. To find your web site address (also known as a URL), click on the Information icon in your www folder, as shown below:

2. In the page that opens, you will see a list of information, including your web site's address, as shown below:

3. Use the URL you see listed on your WebFiles account to view your web site in a web browser.
